Previously operated by Chengdu Airlines, the aircraft is 12.1 years old (MSN 5003) and has been leased from China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited.

The low-cost carrier plans to receive a total of 17 additional aircraft deliveries throughout 2024.

Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Office, said:

This aircraft delivery is aligned with our commitment to provide safe, accessible, and affordable flights for every Juan. We are excited to fly even more passengers to their chosen destinations this year made possible by our growing domestic and international network and ongoing fleet expansion efforts.

The airline intends to expand its fleet to 92 aircraft by the end of the year, solidifying its position as an airline with one of the youngest fleets in the world.

Cebu Pacific’s current fleet includes Airbus A330s, Airbus A320s, Airbus A321s, and ATR turboprop aircraft, offering passengers a vast domestic network.
