Cathay Pacific will resume its fifth freedom flights between Bangkok and Singapore this spring.
The Hong Kong-based carrier will restart the daily flights between Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi and Singapore on March 31. According to Cathay Pacific, the flights will be operated on aircraft featuring flatbeds in Business Class, and Premium Economy seats.
After previously suspending the route during the pandemic, the resumed Bangkok-Singapore route will have the same pre-pandemic flight schedules operating as CX717/CX718.
As we continue to rebuild our connectivity, we are very excited to be resuming our Bangkok-Singapore service after four years,” said Dominic Perret, Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia, Cathay Pacific. “This is a flight route that is much loved by many of our customers. We know that they have been anticipating its return as much as we have, and we certainly look forward to welcoming our Singapore-bound customers onboard.”
Between Bangkok and Singapore, Cathay Pacific will compete with Singapore Airlines/Scoot, THAI Airways, Jetstar Asia, Thai Lion Air, and Thai AirAsia.
