Cebu Pacific suspends flights in Dipolog due to runway damage

Cebu Pacific announced on Wednesday evening that it will suspend operations in Dipolog Airport on October 19, 2023, due to runway surface damage.

The following flights are cancelled:

  • DG 6603/6604: Cebu – Dipolog – Cebu
  • 5J 703/704: Manila – Dipolog – Manila

The airline said that safety is of paramount concern and that operations will be suspended until it receives verification that the runway is safe for landing and take-off.

Affected passengers have been informed and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website:

  • Flight Rebooking / Rerouting: Rebook or reroute any flight bound for Dipolog for free. Should the travel period extend beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date, a fare difference may be applied.
  • Travel Fund: Store the full amount in a virtual CEB wallet valid and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)
  • Refund: Full refund of your ticket.

Cebu Pacific sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the understanding of its passengers.
