PAL resumes flights to Cotabato on October 1

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume regular flights to and from Cotabato City on October 1, 2023, following the completion of repair work on the runway at Cotabato’s Awang Airport.

According to a press release, PAL will operate the following domestic flights to and from Cotabato City:

  • PR 2959/2960 (Daily) Manila – Cotabato – Manila
  • PR 2223/2224 (Monday & Thursday) Cebu – Cotabato – Cebu
  • PR 2487/2488 (Monday & Thursday) Cotabato – Tawi-Tawi – Cotabato

“We welcome the reopening of Cotabato’s Awang Airport for full operations by larger aircraft,” said Mr. Rabbi Vincent Ang, President of PAL Express. 

“We look forward to serving the people of Cotabato and our passengers traveling to and within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao with our flights from Manila, Cebu and Tawi-Tawi, and congratulate the aviation authorities and the BARMM government for the efforts to upgrade infrastructure in the interests of safety and efficiency.”
