Philippine Airlines (PAL) and PAL Express (PALex) have successfully completed the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audits (IOSA), affirming their adherence to the highest international aviation safety standards.

The IOSA is an internationally recognized safety evaluation system that rigorously assesses an airline’s operational management and control systems. PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Captain Stanley K. Ng congratulated the team, stating, “We all commit to live and promote a culture of safety above all, the cornerstone of PAL operations.”

The audits confirm PAL and PAL Express’s commitment to safety standards in flight operations, aircraft engineering and maintenance, organization and management, operational control and flight dispatch, cabin operations, ground handling operations, cargo operations, and security management.

PAL has achieved its 9th consecutive successful IOSA renewal, while PAL Express marks its 5th renewal. PAL President Rabbi Vincent L. Ang expressed pride, stating, “The unwavering commitment to maintaining a culture of safety is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the entire organization.”

To maintain membership with IATA, PAL Group airlines undergo IOSA re-certification every two years. As the Philippines’ only full-service airline network, PAL Group operates extensive domestic and international flights.
