The special Cebu – Laoag – Cebu flight — made possible through the collaboration between the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte and Philippine Airlines — reflects the flag carrier’s commitment to serve as an air bridge to promote regional connectivity and bolster local tourism, including the arts scene.

PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng led the send-off for the special flight which registered a high passenger load of 90%

“We are united with you in promoting domestic travel to the regional centers of our country. Local communities are the true frontlines of the Philippine economy, and this is true for both Cebu and Ilocos,” he said.
