Sunlight Air launches Manila-Siargao flights

On Monday, October 31, 2022, boutique airline Sunlight Air began operating direct flights between Manila and Siargao, broadening the airline’s present network of domestic destinations.

Passengers of the inaugural flight on Monday were greeted with special treats and an unparalleled Sunlight Air experience. Upon arrival, the flight was welcomed with a water canon salute marking an important new milestone in aviation.

Flights between the two cities will depart every Monday and Friday on-board the airline’s ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft.

Flight 2R-987 of Sunlight Air departs from Manila at 7:05 AM and lands at Siargao at 9:35 AM. After that, the return aircraft, 2R-988, leaves Siargao at 10:00 AM and lands in Manila at 12:30 PM.

As of posting, Sunlight Air offers flights to the following destinations: Busuanga, Camiguin, Caticlan, Clark, Manila, Puerto Princesa, San Vicente, and Siargao.
