AirAsia Philippines zooms in on its international routes, slashing its prices for its nine overseas flights to as low as Php 411 until November 06. The guests who will avail of the promo may book travels happening from 02 November 2022 to 30 September 2023 via the airasia Super App.

The world’s best low-cost airline recently achieved 100% of its pre-pandemic domestic flight frequency in its Manila hub, which is believed to be a prelude to the fast recovery of demand in the international travel scene. The monthly load factor of AirAsia Philippines for its ASEAN destinations averaged 80 percent in Q3 of this year. The number is expected to rise before end-year, especially with the increase of  AirAsia’s frequency to some of its international routes: 11x weekly for Manila-Bangkok and 4x weekly for Cebu-Seoul starting November; and 3x weekly for Manila-Hong Kong by December.

AirAsia Philippines Chief Executive Officer Ricky Isla shares: “We are determined to achieve 100% of our pre-pandemic flight frequency to international destinations by the first half of 2023. Having observed the high travel confidence of Filipinos in the new normal in our own domestic operations, we are optimistic that with more relaxed border protocols abroad, we will see outbound tourism rebound significantly by early next year. We aim to propel this with promos that further make our flights attainable.”

The top international destinations of AirAsia based on average monthly seat sales from January to September in order of ranking are Manila-Seoul, Manila-Bangkok, Manila-Kuala Lumpur, Manila-Singapore, and Manila-Bali. It recently added Taipei and Osaka to its roster of active international routes.

Guests ready to avail of the flash sale on international flights may book via the airasia Super App.
