Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, continues to boost its international network to address rising demand for travel as it adds flights from Manila to Dubai beginning July 2, bringing its total to 10x weekly.

CEB will operate the additional Manila-Dubai flight 5J 18 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, scheduled to depart Manila at 10:20pm, and arrive in Dubai at 3:25am the next day.

This is on top of daily flights 5J 14 with 7:20pm departure from Manila, and 12:45am arrival at Dubai.

“This is a chance for every Juan to experience a bit of what Dubai has to offer – from its megastructures, shopping, food, and cultural heritage. With the easing of travel protocols in and out of the country, travelers also need not to worry about hassles when coming back to the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, CEB Chief Commercial Officer.

Travel requirements when flying to Dubai include a valid tourist visa, passport valid for six (6) months upon arrival, applicable Philippine Travel Tax Certificate (PH Tax), and any of the following:

  • Valid vaccination certificate(s) (in Arabic or in English) that reflects the completion of doses of vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) or the United Arab Emirates (UAE), provided with QR code;
  • OR valid negative COVID-19 test certificate (in Arabic or in English) based on a molecular diagnostic test issued within 48 hours from the time of collecting the sample and from an approved health service provider, with a QR code;
  • OR valid medical certificate (in Arabic or in English) issued by the relevant authorities that the passenger has recovered from COVID-19 within a period of one (1) month (the date of recovery and the date of arrival) provided with QR code System.

Fully vaccinated travelers coming to the Philippines, on the other hand, are exempted from presenting pre-departure COVID 19 test results for entry if they have received at least one booster shot.

CEB urges its passengers to check with the authorities of their destination for the latest protocols and requirements. For more information, passengers may refer to CEB Travel reminders page for the latest updates and complete travel guidelines to their destination.

CEB continues to offer its guaranteed low fares to stimulate travel across its network. It continues to implement a multi-layered approach to safety, while it operates with a 100% fully vaccinated crew, 95% of whom have been boosted – all to ensure every Juan flies safely and conveniently on Cebu Pacific.
