Cebu Pacific beefs up international network with Brunei flights

111

The Philippines’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), continues to expand its international network as it announces the resumption of its Manila – Brunei flight, bringing its total restored international destinations to 18.

On July 23, 2022, CEB intends to restart its flights between Manila and Brunei, beginning with a twice weekly frequency every Thursday and Saturday.

Flight 5J 409 is scheduled to depart Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 at 7:10PM, and is set to arrive at Brunei International Airport by 9:40PM. Its return flight, 5J 410, is scheduled to leave Brunei at 10:30PM, and arrive in Manila at 12:50AM the following day.

“We are delighted to keep boosting our international flight frequencies as we continuously see strong demand for air travel. We are especially happy to bring this route back after a two-year hiatus as we know many of our kababayans are looking forward to visiting their family and friends – whether in Brunei, or back home in the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, CEB Chief Commercial Officer.

Travelers looking to visit a unique country may consider Brunei for its many activities meant to recharge the soul – be it through hiking, ATV rides, water sports, or a wellness spa experience. Visitors will also be able to see various art in public spaces which show a glimpse of Brunei’s culture and history through the eyes of its local young artists.

Fully vaccinated Filipinos flying to Brunei are only required to present their proof of complete vaccination, along with an e-heath arrival declaration form which must be filled out not more than 24 hours before departure. A certificate of Travel Medical Insurance with COVID-19 coverage (minimum coverage of BND 20,000) also must be presented upon check-in.

Coming home, boosted Filipinos no longer need to take a COVID test pre-departure. For more information, passengers may refer to CEB Travel reminders page for the latest updates and complete travel guidelines to their destination.

CEB continues to offer its guaranteed low fares to stimulate travel across its flight network. It continues to implement a multi-layered approach to safety, while it operates with a 100% fully vaccinated crew, 95% of whom have been boosted – all to ensure every Juan flies safely and conveniently on Cebu Pacific.
