AirAsia Philippines, in anticipation of the influx of guests flying for summer and the Holy Week, moves its domestic operations back to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4. This applies to guests with inbound and outbound domestic flights on and from March 28, 2022.

The transfer to NAIA Terminal 4 is also in conjunction with the recent announcement of Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade on February 28, officially reactivating the terminal’s operations after being closed for more than two years due to the pandemic.

AirAsia Philippines Spokesperson Steve Dailisan said, “Travel is set to rebound as seen with the increase of passengers traveling via air transport and the relaxation of travel protocols. As we expect this number to double in time for summer and Holy Week, we at AirAsia are keen on keeping our brand of high-quality guest service at an optimum.  We are upgrading our check-in counters at T4 to provide our guests with a seamless travel experience.  We also encourage our guests to familiarize themselves with the online check-in option via Super App to facilitate easy and fast check-in procedures.”

Guests are also encouraged to regularly check their flight status via My bookings through the airasia flysafe landing page.

Travellers are expected to take advantage of the eased travel restrictions and ongoing promos of air carriers, including AirAsia’s Super App deals which offers 20% on all flights and 50% off on Hotels which will be booked from 16 to 18 March for travels from 1 October 2022 to 25 March 2023.

AirAsia Philippines recently doubled its flight frequency to popular summer destinations such as Caticlan (Boracay), Kalibo, Cebu, Tagbilaran (Panglao), and Puerto Princesa.  Flights to other destinations like Bacolod, Iloilo, Tacloban and Cagayan De Oro were also increased.

The international flight operations of AirAsia Philippine will remain at NAIA Terminal 3 where they are currently housed.
