Singapore Airlines’ low-cost subsidiary Scoot has opened online reservations for flights between Singapore and Davao, expected to commence this year.

Based on its online booking platform, Scoot plans to begin flights to Davao on December 1, 2021.

Scoot flight TR-360 will depart from Singapore at 10:20 am and will arrive at Davao at 2:00 pm. The return flight, TR-361, will depart Davao at 2:40 pm and arrive in Singapore at 6:10 pm.

The airline’s Singapore to Davao service will operate thrice-weekly every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. Flights between the two cities will be aboard the Airbus A320 fleet.

In September, local newspaper SunStar Davao reported that a new airline company would ply the Singapore-Davao route within the year.

SilkAir previously operated the route for decades until the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of flights. Since SilkAir and Scoot share the same parent company, it is most likely that the latter will replace the former in operating the route.

Low-cost airline Cebu Pacific also operates flights between Davao and Singapore. However, the airline suspended the route indefinitely due to COVID-19.
