Philippine low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air will resume flights between Manila and Hong Kong beginning September 1, 2021, as it continues to undergo a staunch and gradual recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Flight 5J-272 departs from Manila at 5:30am and arrives in Hong Kong at 7:50am. The return flight, 5J-273, departs from Hong Kong at 9:10am and arrives back in Manila at 11:25am. Flights are flown on variable equipment, varying from the Airbus A320, A321, or A330.

Flights between Hong Kong and Manila will operate six times weekly, flying every day except on Saturdays. Cebu Pacific’s reopening of flights to Hong Kong and other international destinations is in response to the growing need to cater to more essential travelers.

“There is latent travel demand and we remain cautiously optimistic as we boost operations where it is needed most. We continue to listen to our passengers and we do all that we can to address their needs while we remain committed to prioritize everyJuan’s health and safety,” said Xander Lao, Chief Commercial Officer at Cebu Pacific.

Guests flying to Hong Kong are reminded of the requirements needed to enter the territory. Passengers may view the list of requirements and read updates on the COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong at bit.ly/HKG_COVID-19.

Last month, Cebu Pacific increased flights on several international destinations, among those Singapore, and Tokyo-Narita. The airline also reinstated flights to Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul-Incheon, and Taipei over the past month.
