Cebu Pacific once again secures the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration as it fully complies with its stringent global aviation safety standard.
The IOSA audit involves the highest level of safety practices in accordance with global aviation standards to deliver the best experience for its passengers.
CEB first joined the IATA as a member in 2019, along with over 290-member airlines. To date, it is IATA’s largest member among Philippine carriers as of full year 2020, with 51% domestic passenger volume and 53% total domestic cargo.
“We are fully aware that now more than ever, safety is everyjuan’s topmost concern. We in CEB continue to prioritize this and have made sure our protocols and policies meet IOSA standards as it is the recognized benchmark for airline safety across the globe,” said Capt. Manny Ilagan, Vice President for Safety, Quality & Security at Cebu Pacific.
CEB has continuously invested in various technologies to enhance its risk management capabilities, on top of making its operations more efficient.
The IOSA audits the operator’s operational management and control systems covering Organization Management and Control System, Flight Operations, Dispatch, Cabin, Ground Handling, Cargo, Maintenance and Security.
