Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific will gradually restart more international flights by August to rebuild international operations amid COVID-19.

In a press release, Cebu Pacific said it plans to reinstate flights to Hong Kong, Nagoya, Osaka, and Taipei, at the same time increasing frequencies to other foreign destinations.

Beginning August 4, the Manila-Singapore route will increase frequency from twice to thrice weekly. The Manila-Incheon service will also increase from twice to thrice weekly on August 16. Meanwhile, the Manila-Narita route will be flown thrice weekly beginning August 22.

On the other hand, Cebu Pacific will resume daily flights to Hong Kong starting August 11. The airline will also resume service to Nagoya (twice weekly), Osaka-Kansai (twice weekly), and Taipei (once weekly) beginning August 14.

“We remain cautiously optimistic as we gradually rebuild our international network,” said Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing and Customer Experience of Cebu Pacific. “We recognize the need for non-leisure travel to these routes and we assure everyone that we are committed to keep prioritizing safety as we restore trust and confidence in air travel.”

For passengers who wish to board these flights, Cebu Pacific advises them to read guidelines and reminders before flying. Passengers may refer to the list of travel requirements here: https://bit.ly/CEBFlightReminders.
