Royal Air to launch Clark-Haikou-Davao triangular cargo route

Focusing on the regional cargo market within Southeast Asia, Royal Air Philippines announced on Tuesday the launch of triangular cargo flights between the Philippines and China this month.

In a Facebook post, Royal Air announced plans to fly the Clark-Haikou-Davao triangular cargo route on a thrice-weekly schedule beginning Friday, July 9, 2021.

The first leg, RW-511, will depart from Clark International Airport at 11:30 pm and arrive at Haikou Meilan International Airport at 2:10 am the next day. The aircraft will then leave from Haikou at 5:30 am and arrive in Davao at 8:30 am as flight RW-812. The last leg will depart at 10:50 am and will come back in Clark at 12:30 pm.

The Clark-Haikou service will fly every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, while the Haikou-Davao-Clark leg will fly every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Last March, Royal Air launched a direct cargo service between Clark and Davao as part of a cargo network expansion. The airline also inaugurated cargo Manila-Incheon cargo flights in January 2021.

Royal Air operates a fleet of two Airbus A319-100 and two Airbus A320-200 aircraft. The airline also previously flew a fleet of three British Aerospace RJ-100 jets.
