PAL cancels select domestic flights amid GCQ/ECQ restrictions

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines announced Friday the cancellation of select domestic flights on 15 routes from Manila and Cebu beginning July 31, 2021.

These cancellations are the result of the heightened restrictions imposed by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. Only essential travel in and out of the Manila bubble will be allowed.

The Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), the highest quarantine classification in the Philippines, will be implemented in Manila from August 6-August 20, 2021.

As of July 30, 2021, the following are the cancelled Philippine Airlines domestic flights:
