Passengers on Philippine Airlines flights departing from Manila may now arrange for their RT-PCR tests for only PHP2,599 (from PHP3,300) with results released in 24 hours, through PAL testing facilities at the Philippine Airlines Learning Center (PLC) in Ermita, Manila and at PAL Gate 3 along Andrews Avenue in Pasay City.
This makes PAL – in partnership with DOH-accredited Detoxicare Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory – the airline that offers the lowest-priced 24 – hour COVID test for travel, starting today (21June).
The PAL testing centers at PLC Manila and PAL Gate 3 Pasay City also offer Antigen tests at PHP 700 with results released in 30 minutes.
RT-PCR and Antigen Testing at the PLC center are available via drive-through or walk-in, open daily (Monday-Sunday, including holidays) from 8AM to 8PM.
For 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service, the PAL Gate 3 Testing Facility along Andrews Avenue is open to serve passengers via walk-in or in-car service.
The testing services are part of PAL’s continuing commitment to promote safety and convenience in traveling, as the flag carrier continues the gradual increase of flights and routes as travel demand recovers with easing of travel restrictions.

Upon entering both facilities, passengers must present their ID, PAL ticket, payment confirmation (if prepaid), and QR code indicating successful registration to the PAL Passenger Profile and Health Declaration Form.

In compliance with Philippine regulations, non-Filipinos undergoing a COVID-19 test must ensure to bring a photocopy of their passport and proof of accommodation or residence in the Philippines. Please allow our laboratory partners to take a photo or photocopy of these documents if you miss to bring them on your testing day.
Passengers may pay in cash (PHP only), card (debit or credit), GCash, PayPal™, WeChat Pay, or Alipay on the day of your test. For RT-PCR Tests, Senior Citizen and PWD discounts apply. Passengers can pre-pay for their COVID-19 tests online.
Pre-payment is an available option and may be done through the following steps:
- After registering at PAL’s Passenger Profile and Health Declaration (PPHD) Form, you will receive a confirmation email, which has a link to the online pre-payment portal.
- Travelers will be directed to the booking and payment portal of Detoxicare Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory Inside the payment portal.
- PAL Testing Facilities accept debit/credit card payments via MasterCard, Visa, JCB, American Express, WeChat Pay, or Alipay. Please ensure that your chosen COVID-19 test is the accepted requirement of your destination.
- Once payment is successful, passengers will receive an email confirming payment. This must be presented together with one’s ID, PAL ticket, and QR code upon entering PAL Testing Facilities.
