Budget airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) has welcomed the first of three Airbus A330 aircraft scheduled for delivery this year. The brand-new Airbus-A330 touched down at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport today, February 21, 2014, marking a significant addition to CEB’s growing fleet.

The airline is set to receive two more Airbus A330s in May and August 2014. By the close of 2014, CEB will be operating five widebody Airbus A330 aircraft, enhancing its long-haul operations.

This delivery takes CEB’s total fleet to 50 aircraft, which includes ten Airbus A319, 29 Airbus A320, three Airbus A330, and eight ATR-72 500 aircraft. Looking ahead, between 2014 and 2021, Cebu Pacific is slated to take delivery of an additional 13 Airbus A320, 30 Airbus A321neo, and three Airbus A330 aircraft, further solidifying its position in the aviation industry.
